Saw a Halloween costume that was a “gym route”. She had climbing holds attached her and a sign that said “5. Easy. Jugs on, cracks off.”

I found out today that the rock in Clear Creek Canyon is really gneiss. And to think, all these years I've just taken it for granite.

(cue the groans...)

My friend said that the crux of Bachar-Yerian was tenuous, I think it was more elevenuous.

I have very strong feelings about some rock, but try not to get too sedimental.

Every once in a while, I'll become particularly attracted to a climb, only to learn later she's a total dyke

When you get into camp, you have to put the tent up first. If you break out the beers before you have the tent up -

It's pretentious.

Me: —Gets Elvis leg—

Some rando guy: “hey! look guys its the king of rock!”

Me: “Man, I was tame compared to what they do now. Are you kidding? I didn’t do anything but just jiggle.” (Quoted from the legend himself)

Ondra seemed to climb really well on the 9a he did.
I guess you could say that it was love on-sight.

Random ADHD thought thanks to some eclectic climbing gym music last week:

What do the Nose of El Cap and Tuvan throat singing have in common? They're both multi-pitch.

Srry guys, I love puns!!

1. I recently almost fell off a sketchy wall with a ton of small holds that I had to squeeze between my fingers.
I really was in a pinch!

2. my buddy showed me how to use my toe to do a super hard move…
I was instantly hooked

3. My GF kept barn dooring off this boulder, definable a red FLAG.

4. My foot kept slipping off on a slab in front of my friends.

The whole experience smeared my reputation.

5. What grip is the best at making pb&j?

The hand jam!

6. Seeing my friends anchor setup put me to ease.

It was a SERENE experience.

7. The belayer was not paying attention to the top rope climber. With all that extra rope, he was slacking around.

8. The trespassing ice-climber who slipped on the steep glacier eventually fessed up, and made a self-arrest.

Ok guys, ill leaf you alone for the thyme being…
