Anyone know how bad it is near black lake slabs or west gully? Supposed to get on some ice tomorrow but CAIC isn't saying things are looking to good up there.

Thanks,

Seth

For anyone who hasn't seen it, there was a notice this morning on the CAIC twitter feed about rmnp:

9:55 AM by Spencer Logan: Observers in RMNP report touchy slabs 2' thick, sitting on 20" of depth hoar. #coavy

I'm guessing there's a nice fresh poorly-bonded windslab above West Gully, but I haven't been up there personally since the snow. I was looking at black lake for tomorrow as well but might change destinations.

We're gonna head up there and at least take a look. Maybe see you there...
