I'm looking for a mentor of sorts. I've been in the climbing game for about 8 years now. Just got into trad about two years ago. Got a full rock rack. I moved to CO to get into the Alpine game and get on rock much more often. I've got some ice tools , boots, and points - and been up a few dozen ice TR's at Ouray. I quickly realized there are FAR MORE things to learn in the ice/alpine setting. I'm super motivated, and have done all the required reading - i just want to put it in practice now. I can get out every weekend and want to explore the west on my 3-day weekends.

If you have any interest in taking someone out and passing on your years or lifetimes of experience - your time would not be lost with me. I am super quick study and I love helping people get into a sport that brings me so much pure joy and excitement - and fully intend to pass all my expertise on to whoever asks. Climbing is a pay-it-forward sort of sport, and i hope i can find someone who thinks similarly and will show me the finer points of the game.

In return for your time, i will drive and buy the beer. hows that for a deal?
