No, I really have no idea what I'm talking about to be honest. Elucidate me!

I cross posted to a number of web sites..3 or 4, don't remember without looking.
The idea was to start a conversation. Agree or disagree on the topic it seems to have done that.
Gandi once said... first they ignore you then they laugh at you then they will fight you then you win
Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were some cheating bastards too! If they would've trained harder they could totally have pulled off the moon landing without supplemental oxygen. They even littered up there so that future generations and locals have to deal with the environmental mess. Another case of white people being white.

I've seen that quote attributed to Gandhi, but maybe it was Gandi. Anyway, I'm not sure how it applies here. Lost me on that one.

You were good on the spelling. It was Gandhi btw. If you are that sharp the rest should be easy.
I think people just need to qualify their accomplishments. I'm an asthmatic but I'd still love to climb Everest someday. I'm not going to pay a sherpa to carry me up but you can bet your ass I'm bringing O2. I think for 99% of climbers the activity is a personal challenge, not a competitive one.
