Chile/Argentina - Looking for Partners and Climbing Area Suggestions

I'm taking a solo trip to Chile and/or Argentina for two weeks in either mid January or the first part of February. I've been to southern patagonia before and this time am interested in climbing in northern patagonia, the lakes district, bariloche or frey (maybe the last one is considered part of bariloche?). I'm comfortable leading up to mid-11 sport and 5.7 trad. Looking for suggestions on specific climbing areas as well as to connect with some folks that may be in the area around the same time and interested in climbing together. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hey Beth,

I'm heading to Chile in mid-January and staying for a year or two. Definite down for climbing if you're still looking for partners.

Hi Beth, I am really keen to go to climb in cochamo. I climb up to early 5.10 trad and up to early 5.11 sport. I am in santiago now if you are keen to do any climbing around here.

Cheers, Alex
