So does anyone here have firsthand experience on it? It's been a dream route of mine for a long time, but there is virtually no info on it anywhere other than a short blurb or two in some climbing guides and a few online hits.
I know it's got a reputation as burly, scary and dangerous, but I'd like to know more than that, and I'd like to hear/talk with someone who has done it. Any help?

Thermogenesis is snow, but still, why would you want to climb it? much better routes in the north cascades that are actually worth doing and aren't just a extended game of russian roulette.
Over the years, there have been some discussions about it at cascadeclimbers, but I think this route fits under the category of "If you have to ask..."
