Tombo: That was on Petered Out on the Big Rock Candy Mountain. These 1/4" button heads have since been replaced by modern hardware.

Oh man. That made my palms sweat. Stichter Quits was the first slab route I ever climbed and it scared the shit out of me. I've since climbed way harder and almost as run out slab lines, and nothing else has freaked me out the way that one did. The high winds didn't help either.
