Take a short walk up the trail, and you will notice a chasm begins to develop around the river where water-ice collects in many places.

Getting There Suggest change

Exit 28 on NH route 93. Go east for a few miles until you come to a small parking lot on the right with signs for the Smarts Brook trail.
