The Vail Symposium's 2013 Wells Fargo Unlimited Adventure series kicks off Thursday at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail with “No Strings Attached,” a presentation by professional free solo rock climber Alex Honnold.

Honnold will speak about his adventures as a big-wall free solo climber. Honnold's most notable climbs include the only known solo of the Yosemite Triple Crown, an 18-hour, 50-minute link-up of Mount Watkins, The Nose (El Capitan), and The Regular Northwest Face of Half Dome.

The presentation starts at 6 p.m. following a reception at 5:30. Tickets are pay-at-will with a suggested donation of $10. Reservations are recommended and can be made at the symposium's website or call (970) 476-0954 for more information.
