This is the third rappel if using a single rope. Our rope found a crack on this rappel and retrieving it was a serious chore.

Pitch 1 ramp. It's 4th class so easy to solo to the base of Pitch 2.

Overview of descent of Shark's Nose Northwest Buttress. Descent roughly follows the route, so this photo can also be used to find and identify some of the major climbing landmarks for ascent.
