Scottsdale climbing partner

I just moved out west, and am staying with my parents for the next month or two in the Scottsdale area while I take boards/jobhunt, and would love to get some climbing in during that time. I have sport gear and am working on leading skills (around 5.8-9 currently) but am game to follow trad too. Send me a message if you're keen to get out :)

I'll be in Scottsdale for the 23-26th. I am flying so I can only bring a limited amount of gear. If you want to try and get on one of the cooler routes at Pinnace Peak or surrounding area let me know

Hey, I'm from Minneapolis and I've been climbing avidly for about a year, and I just made this account cos I dont know any climbers in the area. The past few months I've been climbing a lot in California.. Now I just got into Scottsdale, and I'm staying with my family for an extended holiday vacation. So I will be here for about a month. For the most part, I climb outdoors, sport mostly, haven't gotten into trad yet. Gyms are good too, do you know of any good ones in the area? (I'm completely new to the area as far as climbing goes) I'm willing to drive up to an hour for decent sport, and I'm always up to go climb.. It has been almost 2 weeks since I've climbed, gotta get back to it!

I'd definitely be game to climb. As for gyms, I just bought a month membership to AZ on the Rocks in north Scottsdale, starting first of the year. Give me a shout if you wanna check that out, or there are a few locals who have kindly offered to give an intro to some of their favorite crags after the holidays :)

I live in Mesa and work nights so early morning short day trips are possible, but I try to get out every weekend to climb. I'm good to go sport up to 5.10 but taking it easy on trad lead till I'm comfortable 5.7~8. Anyone interested in climbing I need to make plans in advance otherwise they schedule me to work :/
