Utah Ice Conditions '12-'13

Does anybody have any beta on ice conditions in Santaquin?

I agree with Brian, if you can't walk a few feet to do your deed, to keep things clean,maybe you should rethink things. A lot of people use this area and really don't want to stand around in your pee...

Led scruffy band this morning. I'm no hero and I felt comfortable on it

wally--did it take any skrews or pro at all? Heard theres a pin 50' up or so, but were you able to protect it much?

Climbed the Scruffy Band w/ "Wally" yesterday. The lower half of the flow took 10cm screws and the upper took 13 and 16cm ones... The exit out left to the trees seemed to be the crux requiring a bit of mixed climbing and a few cams were helpful (metolius orange master cam and BD #2 were placed). The pins are two knife blades approx 100ft up before you bust left.

Went to Santaquin today, Squashhead was not touching down. Since the stable one was not in I didn't bother to check the other two.

Got skunked on Christmas Eve, total bummer.

Anyone have a hallucination re: how Joe's will look this weekend?

Funny cause i just woke from this dream.
Joe's is going to be great. Everything including Spear and the Ampitheater will be in. Sun will shine, birds will sing, you'll send the mixed route behind Donor, onsite. The creek will be frozen and there will be a trail in the snow but the routes will have no evidence of privious activity.
There will be toilet paper in the outhouse and folks grilling and drinking home brew in the parking lot who offer you both food and drink. You be warm all day and find $20 in a coat pocket.

Another chossatch route! Andy Knight and I finished the highway to hell project today. Its all there and fun as hell. Few screws and a hand full of QDs

I'm heading solo to GWI Saturday 29th am. I hope to find someone to climb with. I figure, its one of the more popular routes and a Saturday, odds are good.
