Planning on getting a few days in at Lincoln Woods during late December. Anyone have suggestions for boulders that get particularly good sun?

whole warmup area is usually fine, peace dove, sitdown area,

in general it's not bad in the winter. if it's above 30 and it hasn't snowed things are climbable.

Even if it has snowed, it is usually climbable. There are a few of us who will keep a few boulders free of snow.

Pond Cave is a great winter spot too...

I'd be down to join you late December and bring an extra pad.

Thanks for the advice Jake and Joe. And I will let you know when I am heading down Bill.

The Woods are usually really good in the winter. I only remember a couple of times when snow kept thing in the deep freeze for long.

I would add the Pinnacle area if the wind isn't blowing, sunny and easy warm ups.

I'll be in Woods Hole, MA for a week starting this Wed. If some pad people are heading here this weekend, I'd love to meet and climb. Other places nearby work too.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
