making training holds

There isn't really an indoor category here(nor should there be) but i just broke my ankle and looking for something to do. Anybody know of a thread or any information on making climbing holds? Thanks and i know...

three ball climbing has a pamphlet you can buy and they also sell supplies (I believe).

also a quick google search yields a stack of results that appear to all be similar advice/tutorials. the instructables posting looks good.

You can make them out of wood also, photos here. .
