Description Suggest change

A collection of boulders and small walls mostly on an east or north-east facing hillside. Nice short approach. Probably more stuff further in across the wilderness boundary. Rock quality is standard for the foothills, pretty good in places and crumbly in others. Less traffic than U-mound but then that is true of all other areas in the foothills.

Getting There Suggest change

From I-40, head north on Tramway through a few stop lights to Indian School Rd. Turn east and drive up the road till it deadends in a fairly large parking area.

For the majority of the close stuff you will walk east on a wide trail towards a large water tank. About 100 yards short of the water tank there will be another pretty big trail that banches off to the right at about 90 degrees and heads straight for the boulders.
