Heading up the NW ridge of Chopicalqui, route descends the standard SW ridge on the other side. This route is rarely climbed, very commiting, and the summit ridge may be considerably harder depending upon whether or not the snow features are intact. Alan Doak in photo, Stefan Griebel photographer.
