This thread seems to have started a life of it's own for climbing partners in the Roaring Fork Valley and Glenwood Springs areas. Spend a lot of time there weekends and some mid-week year round and am always up for rock (trad, sport, alpine, and even G-Canyon mud-wallow choss scares) but am especially looking for ICE partners!!!

g'day shaemus,

I'm visiting Denver this weekend for a concert on Saturday night. I'm free all of Saturday, and Sunday until 4ish.

I'd be happy to head along to No Name Canyon if you like. Can trad lead around 5.10, probably sport at the same level at the moment (shaking the dust off). Experienced in multi-pitch / anchors / not dying.

Tim,

Sorry for the late reply. I threw my back out bad and am laid up this weekend. Always looking for partners in the Roaring Fork Valley...so if you're in the Glenwood area in the future shoot me a line.

Regards,

Jim C.

I'm shaking off the dust as well from a few months off the rope. I don't have much trad experience other than building tr anchors. Solid sport experience tho. I'm in old snowmass, always looking for partners as well. Let me know if you want to get out this weekend.

Brian,
Saw your posts on the ice thread. Though I live in Boulder, I'm often staying at my family's place in Basalt and am definitely looking for ice partners in the RFV. Really want to do Hidden Falls in Glenwood and a couple of semi-obscure lines outside of Redstone if they come in. Will definitely be in touch.

Also Brian, I see you've climbed in snow canyon. I lived in St. George for the last three years, so that's cool that you've been out there.

Hi,
I'm looking for climbing partners any day this week (including today). I'm visiting family in Glenwood for the week. I've got either the Pup Tent of Solitude or Puoux in mind, but I'm up for anything.

Hey,

I live in Glenwood, and have most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays off. I'm always up for climbing, but I don't really know anyone else in the valley that climbs ice. Anyone know if there is any ice forming in Red Stone yet?

I'm also happy to get on some rock until winter actually arrives.
