Warning Access Issue: Seasonal Raptor Closures/CDOT Road Work DetailsDrop down

Description Suggest change

This is the furthest right route at Little Eiger presently. It is just right of Tsunami of Charisma.

Per Gregger Man: there is a piton hidden under the block at the base of this route. Anchor your belayer, and knot the end of your 70m rope.

Per Boulder Climbing Community, "JeffCo Open Space has temporarily closed the route at Little Eiger, 'Is Our Children Learning?' until the base area of the climb can be stabilized. As climbers access and belay at the route, rocks and boulders are actively falling into the road, causing a major safety hazard for passing vehicles. This was also the scene of at least one accident where two climbers ended up falling onto the road.

Please respect this closure until the base area is stabilized. BCC supported this temporary closure, hanging locks and tags on the first two bolts."

Protection Suggest change

~14 bolts.

Descent Suggest change

2 ropes.

Rattlesnakes Suggest change

Per Barry Merryman: watch out for rattlesnakes in the cracks to the right of the belay spot on this route.
