Last weekend at Kwood was great. Lots of face shots and only one rock.

Yeah Kirkwood was great last weekend.

I can't speak for Truckee but there's lots of snow in the Carson Pass area given the time of year. Round Top & Elephant's Back area looked like they had ok coverage. Showers lake chutes looked pretty decent as well from Christmas Valley. However it's probably pretty set up by now with the recent warm temps. I imagine you'd encounter lots of crust.

flatstar opens tomorrow...

PM me if you're looking for a partner (skiing or climbing). I'm off tomorrow

Heard Bishop is good this time of the year. You should come out....

Thanks for the info. I went out to Sugar Bowl and just skinned up the stuff they have been grooming. In the shade on Southern aspects the packed powder was light enough to still enjoy your turns. Anderson ridge looked quite filled in and the stuff around Alpine looks good too. Storms are rolling in!

Corey, I am pretty sure I'm going to go, there are a lot of people from Pipes planning on going, should be a good time!

alpine is primed and ready for the poaching, skinned up there and took some pretty good pow shots!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
