Right leaning crack on first belay
We used an approach that wasn't described here before but made sense to me from the topo. Head straight at the hedgehog trail at the intersection and continue uphill for a few minutes. Cut right slightly up to the cliff and then follow the herd path.

This photo shows the path that we found easiest to take for finding the beginning of the Old Route. Bushwacking from the wooden log stairs mentioned elsewhere was neither as clear nor as successful for us.
