Sorry If i said that everything at Otter was unleadable, I meant the Gallery Well, you did write: Sam Owens wrote:You do understand that otter cliffs is a TR only cliff right? And these n00bs on Otter Cliff set up their TR from the bottom! Disgusting!!! j/k... I'm just yanking your chain. Glad you had a good time. Acadia is a wonderful place. We go every year.

My old climbing mate, Paul Niland, led Gallery before you were born.

Keep up the climbing and videos guys. One thing I will never figure out about some climbers is why they feel the need to criticize everything. These kids are out having a blast and doing what we all love. They could be at home playing video games. I'm guessing all the critics where born sending 5.15 and v-12, knew the climber talk and had it all together. Noticed I said "some climbers". The rest of the ones are awesome people. Some of you forget rule #1

Hah, funny thead. Not bad for a school project video. The shooting and editing was decent. You should have gone with less straight climbing footage, and worked in more of the interviews and cut/fade-aways which were clever when inserted. Climb on and keep studying guys!

Much of the coast of the Maine truly east of MDI is filled with awesome looking seacliffs. Especially up near the Canadian border. Ton of undiscovered stuff. I think the route Honnold is climbing is an old Dan Goodwin line that some argue may have been one of the hardest in the world at the time it was originally climbed back in the 80s. Jim

The interviews were a little awkward. They seemed to mimic the pro-videos in a way that didn't seem believable for your subjects. I don't understand why people lash out with harsh AND nonconstructive comments. Maybe this thread can be just as instructive as the filming process was for you, Sam. You'll find beginners of different sorts (learning a 2nd language, new sport, or just growing up) at many ages and they usually look funny when their learning. Some people seem to forget that they were ever beginners. Keep this video so when you're old like these grumpy critics are you can remember that you were a beginner once.

Some of you forget rule #1 Nothing wrong with his creative effort, their climbing ability or their enthusiasm. But when he states, adamently several times, that Otter is TR only, that shows a profond ignorance that anyone who cares for the true facts won't let go.
