A unique and widely known stone along the upper ridge approach trail, before it disappeared roughly ten years ago.

Finland Terrace and Tufa City

Some kind of intrusion (?) on Knuckle Sandwich. Pretty common for the area, and very cool. They also come in an orange brick form. Geology geeks can fill me in.

The first gate off the main road.

Did a lot of trail work this year at the Homestead. This is just one set of steps that is part of 69 new steps we did up to Tufa City. I'm very proud to be part of a (very small) group of Climbers that's not afraid of spending a little time and money at The Homestead.
