Well, I'm no expert, but I've done a few climbs there, read and reread through the Hidden Valley Wall descriptions and would like to suggest the following L-R sorting for the existing routes:

Gardensmith Bypass Shears
Made in the Shade
Cliff Break Fern
Hidden Valley Off Width
Don King Crack
Gorilla In Manilla
Float Like A Butterfly
Padawan
Obe Won Canobe
Summer Solstice
Walking Wounded (upper wall)
Quick Silver
Black Beauty
Anasazi
Illusions
Never Ending Story
So This Is What Unclimbed Rock Looks Like?

I'm sure there will be a few suggestions/additions after this reorganization, but it's a good starting point.

Thanks, Rob

Why don't you contact the admins for that area directly? They're listed for each area and a button away. I've done so on route database organization before, and they're pretty good about responding.

Rob,

Thanks. Done. Let me know if you need anything else.

Col Mustard:
I'm not that sophisticated. They did the job the same day, so I can't imagine better service. I place it here so others might go in quickly and offer updates/publish other routes.

As it turns out, there are many other routes that haven't been published in the MP database that are in an out-of-print guidebook for the wall.

I'm thinking of putting an overview photo for the wall on MP to help others. (Every area seems to need one. And, someday not so far off, I doubt there will be guidebooks. Sigh.) My overview will be incomplete, but I think it's a starting point and will help in the interim.

Thanks MP Administrators! You rock.

That wall is very confusing. Trying to figure where you are and what route is what is real tough especially in Hidden valley. I agree that photos would help.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
