Going on a company trip to Moab in a week and trying to sneak some climbing in. We will be staying at the Red Cliffs lodge, which i've heard is close to Castleton? Chance are some co-workers will want to participate so I'm kinda looking for less technical scrambles or bouldering. I will have a rack and rope just in case.

Red Cliffs is about 10 mins from the Big Bend Boulders which is quality (towards Moab): mountainproject.com/v/big-b…

Castle Valley is right there but I don't know of any technical scrambles.

Fisher towers is also nearby (10 mins north/away from moab) which if anything has some cool looking hikes and some great climbs.

Parriot Mesa looks perfect! I'm going to suggest it.

If Parriot Mesa seems too technical for your group, and you want something more scramble-y, you could do Round Mountain. It's the mini-mountain in the middle of Castle Valley, just up the road from Castleton Tower and 10 minutes from the Red Cliffs Lodge. Neat feature, beautiful views, easy scrambling. Fun! There's a useful writeup at thealoof.com ( thealoof.com/a-quick-jaunt-… ) that I found useful when I did it.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
