Climbing near Brownsville, VT?

Going over to the Brownsville area this weekend to hang out with some friends riding the Vermont 50. Is there any climbing nearby to occupy myself for the 5-7 hours they'll all be running or riding? Probably won't have a partner unless someone here is in the area so will take the crash pad and hope for boulders.
Cheers

Best rope climbing close to there is likely Deer Leap, about 35min away: mountainproject.com/v/deer-…

In the same area there is a collection of boulders as well called the DEKD boulders: mountainproject.com/v/dekd-…

Have fun!

If you go up the mountain a little bit on the MTB trails there are a few boulders spread around. Probably not cleaned but could be some fun exploring...

Check out the map at the Cunningham ski barn (near the start of the 50) and find the Falls from Grace trail, most of the boulders are in that area I think.

There's some sweet potential up on the ascutney trail system. granite blocks near an old quarry. We haven't cleaned around there but I know that some folks have.

Thanks for the recommendations, but it rained nonstop all weekend. Maybe another trip I'll get to check out the boulders.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
