Alright, so I've been trolling around here for a while, but never had a decent post. Finally I've got a question worth its while.

What is the craziest thing you've done for a summit pic, or craziest thing you've seen done.

I saw a Adolf Oliver Nipel signature at a summit registry once. But that's just more pathetic than crazy.

Take a look at that photo. That's some shenanigans.

Denny at -10F on Mt Washington
My buddy and I took a trip up the deadly Mt Washington in Jan. It was -10F or so.

He immediately dropped his pants and began picking out the pricks. He got most of them out except for a few around his taint. This is where I came in. He bent over and spread his cheeks and I had to pull out the remaining pricks while another group of climbers topped out and wondered what we were doing!

Unless my parter was a girl, those cactus thorns would have stayed right where they were!

I once got buzzed by a Jet fighter on top of Waves in the Rushmore area of the Black Hills while smoking a J over the 4th of july.

Castleton headstand... he went for it on the Sister Superior summit the day before but I didn't snap a photo

My favorite story is of Ari Menitove and friends hauling a grill up to the top of castleton and barbecuing burgers for everyone on top

I was gonna swing around a lasso too, but lost the nerve once I got on top and realized just how I'd fall and swing back into the spire if the single many bolt actually held.

I was tempted to find a tall Dr. Seuss hat for the summit of Ancient Art, but alas I couldn't find one in time.
