For the first traverse, this is probably NOT where you want to traverse, I believe it is too high. You can see the bail sling on the piton and a small white cord hanging out of a crack. This traverse has no hands and a sketch down climb.

My best guess at our route from afar. Roped climbing in red, 3rd class in blue, and 5th class in yellow. We went further up the gully to the left than the standard route goes, but it saved time.
Climbing pitch 1 to rejoin the main route if you continue all the way up the 4 class gully to the left.
This pitch starts with the third traverse and wanders up towards a large step.
(1) The chute where the route begins. The prominent gendarme with the notch is actually on the next ridge north. (2) The descent from Ritter-Banner Saddle. This photo was taken in early September following a pretty dry winter.
