Indian Creek this weekend (21-23rd)...any trad leaders out there?
|
Myself 2 other guys and 2 other girls who all mostly sport climb are making it to the Creek this weekend but it looks like we lost our trad leader. We have all the typical gear for sporty climbers like ourselves, plenty of ropes and such...buuuut limited trad gear and not experienced enough. |
|
Just head to Maple Canyon dude. You'll all have a way better time not stressing about needing to find a 'trad' leader. But if you're bullheaded and go anyways just do this route... mountainproject.com/v/let-e… |

Ropegun for hire? |
|
How cute are the girls? |
|
The only difference between climbing at IC and sport climbing is how much your gear weighs. |

totally willing to hire ropegun with beer and goodies from Durango. Maple looks awesome, was just trying to find something closer since we only have two days and being it's so close to Durango. |

Go to Mill Creek, a sport climbing area near Moab. Great climbing and it should be pretty cool near the river. |

hmmmm, i'm thinking these folks idea of sportclimbing will be a bit different than the mill creek definition of sport climbing. might as well suggest the NE corner of the kingfisher as a sport route while we are at it. |

+1 hire a guide. |
