Description
This is a fairly popular cliff jumping area for tourists on the Big Island. The is typically a group of jumpers here or some will come at some point while you are there if the swell isn't too big. Tour boats stop and take a look at the cliff as well.
The lines are fun and gymnastic and there is lots of potential in the cave. The rock is solid and there are natural pockets that seem to be in the perfect places.
The rock is volcanic and extremely hard on the hands. With out tape, some of the harder routes will definitely slice open your skin. The swell can also be dangerous if it is big enough. You would not want to get pinned in the back of the cave! Because there is cliff jumping it is obviously deep enough in spots, yet rocks start to come up and some out of the water on the right side so be cautious.

Getting There
Drive south from Kona on Alli Drive for about 7 miles until you get past the golf course and take a right to stay on Alli Drive. Continue a couple hundred feet until the road dead ends and hop out and follow the trail to the left. Walk for about 5 minutes until you come to the obvious cliff jumping cave.
