I'm visiting the folks in nh and am looking for motivated, fun, Experienced people to partner up with at rumney mostly. I dont care if you climb 5.8 or 5.16, i'm patient and will belay anything you want to do. I'm looking to climb mostly 5.12 with some harder projects. I'm pretty much free all the time this month and am pretty motivated to just climb. You can email me at mountainproject but texting is better-- four three five, two one zero, eight two zero six. And if you have an attitude and/or dont have fun climbing please dont bother contacting me. Thanks!

What days are you looking to get out? Weekends, midweek?

I'd rather not do weekends just cause it gets crowded...

Agreed, I only ask because I work during the week, that being said my days are pretty flexible so I'll hang on to your number and send you a text when I know what my off days are.

Hey Zach,
I have family up north as well that I am anxious to see. My brother lives in VT however and so my major question about joining you is to do with camping. I am looking to climb for a least 4-5 days but shouldn't camp alone so I was wondering what your living arrangements are looking like while you are climbing. I need a camp buddy as well as climber. Or do you know of a hostel nearby ?

Thanks,
Beth

Beth, there is usually camping available right across the street from the climbing, in the Camera's field ($7 a night?), that seems pretty safe. You might get brayed at by a donkey though. There is also the CommonCafe right in the village that offers rooms and beds that serves climbers. There is information on the Rumney front page down in the comments

Hey Zach,

This is Tyler from Plymouth, NH. I met you and your girlfriend in Indian Creek in December of 2010. We camped near each other and shared a fire.

I just moved from Oakland, CA to Boston. Shoot me an email at tlappetito at gmail

I'd love to meet up again for some climbing.

Hey guys,

Looking for someone to climb out at Rumney with, either this Saturday or Sunday. I live in Concord, so if you're in the surrounding area, I'd be down to carpool there as well.

I lead about a low 5.10, but I'm down to climb whatever-- I just really have to get out. Spent way too much fucking time in a library this week...

Anyways, I've got a rope, so give me a text/call at 956.239.1605 !

I'm also in search of an experienced partner for Rumney through at least mid October. Originally from California, I'm out in VT/NH working for a gap semester and though I've bouldered at Rumney before, I have no experience on the routes but do have a full sport rack. I'm quite open-minded and would love to experience the Rumney/your style. I'll be working 5 days a week until the end of September but after that should have a fairly flexible schedule and could take some mid-week trips. Ideally, I'd like to be climbing in the 5.10+/5.11 range about 2-3 times a week but simply climbing anything makes me smile :)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
