hi, just got here a week ago and plan to be around indefinitely. am currently available for weekday climbing trips.

i have gear to lead sport (rope + 14 draws), but i'm interested in following someone on trad routes-- haven't gotten any good crack climbing experience yet, but i learn quick. i'm also interested in bouldering, but i don't have a crash pad. anyone with tips for places that have nice landings where i wouldn't need one?

after climbing in the heat in so cal, the temps here are amazing.

p.s. Deer Creek Park in rockland has some great bouldering, there is even pads already there for you, but the landings are so flat that you really dont need them, some great crack problems there!

Hi, thanks for the reply. I thought Auburn Cliffs was closed to climbing while Access Fund tries to work things out with land management?

Hey,

I will be at the Leap tomorrow, Aug 24th, and need a partner. I have a full rack and a rope; and would like lead Hospital Corner, but ultimately would climb whatever. Text or call if you're interested. I've been climbing out west all summer and am looking to have my last hurrah before heading east.

Hi Sean. I'm sorry I didn't respond-- for some reason I didn't see your reply until just now (even though I've been checking daily). Hope you got to get out there and have some fun. Safe travels eastward.

No worries. I was able to find partners the past two days.

As it stands I am still in the Leap and still looking for a partner for Hospital Corner. If you're interested give me a call.

it technically still is until sometime in September, but i go out there at least once a week and have run into rangers quite a few times with absolutely no problems, but if you feel uncomfortable with that i have been wanting to go big chief in truckee or bowman lake but havent been able to find any partners for that. shoot me an email or text if you are still interested!
Thanks

I live in downtown sac and go sport climbing/bouldering at least once a week. I think we are going to Stinson beach on Friday if you'd like to come. Lots of good bouldering and sport. We go to big Cheif a lot too, loads of fun. 916-862-3838. My name is Calder
