Resoles in Santa Fe?

In Rock and Ice #203 I found an ad for Stealth rubber. There an authorized dealer in Santa Fe was listed (Ron Jacobs). Does he resole climbing shoes? If yes, what is your experience with this shop?

I've gotten a resole from him, on a pair of scarpa thunders. He's a general cobbler, not a dedicated climbing resoler.

Pros:

-Quick turnaround time (dropped 'em off Thursday, ready by next Tuesday
-inexpensive ($28 flat)
-stood by his work (see below)

Cons
- so-so work. glue delaminated after 2 days of climbing. however, when I returned and showed him what happened he re-glued them (for free) and they've held up for five days of climbing and counting.

Bottom line: he's not a specialist. I wouldn't bring him a pair of high-performance shoes. But if you visit Santa Fe regularly and want a pair of comfy or gym shoes resoled, it might be worth the money you'd save over sending them to a real resoler.

Thanks for the info. That't kinda what I guessed.
