A guy I knew, under the influence of bad judgement, free soloed the ∆∆∆ house in the wee hours. Climbing up was easy, down soloing with the cops on the way proved much more difficult.

You can tell that it's a real-live background behind him the whole time. They built fake sections of the building he climbed on top of other buildings, along with a tower to film out of with an angle so you can see the city below, but not the roof of the building they're on. He never had far to fall. Really well done, there's a power-point on this page that explains it all on this page. He's also missing half his one hand, including thumb.
