Just wondering what the conditions on longs are looking like at the moment. More specifically if D1 is dry enough to climb.

Thanks

a friend of mine just got back from a diamond attempt mon-weds and advised that the diamond is rather....moist. he only made it up to broadway before they bagged it.

A bunch of the routes are dripping as of 7/11/12. D1 is super duper soggy.

Thanks for the heads up Justin. Is it safe to assume that the same probably goes for routes further climbers left like Pervertical, and the Yellow Wall?

was up there yesterday-
d7 is totally dry with the exception of the 3rd pitch. other climbers said pervertical was dry as well.

How's the N. Chimney these days? Thought I read somewhere that there might be snow on the Cables descent, is that true?
Thanks

Very little snow getting to the north chimney, and the cables have no snow. The wall was bone dry last friday. There did seem to be a lot more loose rock in the N Chimney than I remembered in the past though.

Have fun, be safe.
