Looking for some beta of possibly doing the Triple Traverse (Mt Warren, Doublet Peak, Dinwoody Peak) in the opposite direction than normal. Going from Dinwoody to Warren instead. Does anyone have any pro/con suggestions of going this way? Thanks

Some loose rock on Warren and from Warren down to Elsie Col. But it's the Winds, there's loose rock everywhere. Last I was there, was a big shrund in Elsie Col, but it's been a while.

If you approach Elsie Col from the Dinwoody Glacier side, you will find no big shrund, just a nice approach. There is a nice rock windshelter that will accept a small tent in the col, if you decide you'd like to bivy there - it's in a very beautiful position. Water is available from runoff off the northeast face of Warren, which is a fun way to climb it if you have tools and crampons.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
