Funny how people think that anything west of Worcester is "the berkshires."

I think Farley is in the Midwest.

I am not sure but I would say this may be the tallest cliff in Kentucky

Any Canucks wanna add some provinces? I'm guessing BC you could say the Chief (ca. 1000ft? I suppose one should start using meters in Canada...), and then something in the Bugs for Alberta, but what about Saskatchewan and the rest?

Hawaii has some of the largest cliffs in the USA, some are in excess of 3,000'. Too bad the tallest climbable one is only 140'.

Delaware Water Gap in Pennsylvania is maybe 220 feet. I've never been but here's the link:

The route Reflections on the back (west) side checks in at 6 or 8 pitches as I recall. Most people are only familiar with the view from the State Park side. Table Rock is surprisingly large for a state like South Carolina.

For NC, what about Whitesides? Isn't that taller than Laurel Knob? I've seen that listed as 1800'

Biggest in CT is likely the BD Wall at West Rock. Guidebook puts it at 300 feet of choss, which is probably an exaggeration, but it is bigger than Sleeping Giant.

That is a tall one but Painted Blufff is likely the tallest.

Table Rock, SC's North Side is easily 750' of vertical granite.

Laurel Knob is the tallest cliff in NC with the middle section being every bit of 1,500'....maybe more. Deceiving due to the convex nature of the dome.

Based on the caver's rappel at Whitesides' SE Face, I would say that the middle section is under 1,000' tall but the climbing is longer considering the concave nature of the face. WS SE Face is definately not as tall as LK.
