I sprained my ankle about 1.5 months ago in an incident involving cheap beer and the roof of a moving car...and it still hurts. I went to the doctor after it happened, and the x-rays confirmed that nothing was broken, so I decided to just let it heal.
I went on a climbing trip to Colorado where it felt fine most of the time, but now I find that it is stiffening up considerably when I sit for a long time, which makes driving to climb a pain in the ass because I end up limping down the trail for a little bit before it loosens up. I sprained the inside of my ankle, which I am aware is the more rare form of a sprained ankle, and was wondering if anyone else has sprained the inside of their ankle, and how long it took to heal.
I guess I am more interested in this particular type of sprain and whether or not anyone has any experience with it...most sprains are on the outside of the ankle and involve the foot rolling in, mine is of the more rare type: the foot rolling out and overextending the inside of the ankle
