I have heard rumors of some good bouldering at the base of Whitehorse? Anyone have any info. Gonna be up that way with maybe an hour or two to spare and am looking for some convenient bouldering...

Hey Joe,
Bob A here;). I'm sure You have probably seen the HUGE boulders that are directly behind the White Mountain Hotel on the trail that heads left of the slabs toward the South Butt.I havn't explored them much myself but they are pretty cool.I'm sure you have been to Humphreys right?

Also if you head to the right going toward the Guides Wall for 5-10 minutes and take a left just before the trail juction heading to Echo lake,You will come to the old Bouchard cabin site that has some cool boulders behind it worth exploring.

I'll bet John Strand would have some info on some of these.

I hope all is well with you and the fam!

I also noticed some really cool looking boulders on the whitehorse trail (yellow blazes) going left along the cliff base. The first of the boulders are maybe 2mins from the start of the trail at the hotel parking lot. Definitely has potential, most of it looked very difficult.

I've bouldered there before. it's worth a look. I don't really have any beta for you, but I had a great time over there.
