Makes me want to puke putting myself in his shoes! Not as solid as I would have expected.

I can't imagine how his days aren't numbered at that level. Just the mental fatigue...

That is so amazing. When his foot slips....

I like how this footage is not quite so chopped up. It gives a sense of how he climbs. It starts to let the tension build.

damn your momma should've hit you more as a child. then maybe you'd be much less of a dick to people for no goddamn reason.

i dont quite understand your logic of even being here to be honest, if all you do is rag on people for being stupid in your eyes, why not just go elsewhere amongst people who are at more your level of "intellect"

anyways. sorry to go off topic, honnold in my eyes is one of the best climbers of our age, solo, roped, amazing the control that guy has

Because we dont need three or four threads on the same topic. It clutters the forum up and is not necessary. Are your feelings always so easily hurt? Good job on advocating child abuse too... you sound like a real winner!

In that note. We don't need your grumpy posts either. You know Burt, when I get tired and cranky I either drink coffee or go to bed. Depending upon the time of day. Maybe you should try those? Or try a gym membership. Also I am sure the servers can handle a extra thread or two so don't worry about that. They some how let us get away with the rock and resole thread...

How does pointing out we dont need three threads on the same topic make me grumpy? I only posted a one sentence recommendation and you guys bothered to type out an entire thesis. Time to find something better to do with your time. And it has nothing to do with server space and everything to do with having to sift through 8 of the same threads when you want to find something. Not a difficult concept...

I am oh so sorry good sir for making you read all of my thesis. You see it is dark outside, therefore I can not climb. Hence I feel the need to post on the inter webs. You, good sir, make a great target because you are always so bitter. Good enough reasons?

Seriously!? Do you have any idea how much climbing he did that day? Only a handful of people in the world have climbed that much technical rock in that amount of time. Nobody has done that much ropeless. When you're pushing the envelope that far, one foot slip really isn't that big of a deal; I think he probably anticipated an error that significant. Of course it could have led to his demise, but so could riding from one objective to another in a vehicle that day.

His two other points of contact were obviously more than sufficient to keep him alive. I'm amazed you had any expectations whatsoever from that athletic feat of epic proportions.

I don't mean to be negative about it at all. Its just that all footage I have seen of him soloing before he was just "running" up the rock. If anything I am more impressed that he has little slips like that and still soloed like 5000 more feet that day!

Its called you being a douche. Telling any mother they should "hit their child more" is pretty bad.... Glad to know you are an advocate of beating children, what a big man you are!

Hey Burt. I think you got around 7 posts knocked off by the mods yesterday. Ever think about being nice? You might actually get some posts that we can read.

You wonder why they go to the effort at that point. Yet another internet whiner who contributes nothing to the site and takes hours to moderate. Baby sitting. Whoopty doo!
