Hello All,

I was driving down 89 in NH the other day and around the Grantham exit I saw a hillside covered in cliffs. when I looked at google maps it looks like it was all located on Grantham Mountain. Does anyone know anything about these cliffs and what the access issues might be?

I hear that they are all on privately owned land and climbers aren't allowed.

I just tell myself that they are probably too low angle for anything fun.

Funny I saw them this weekend and was real curious also. Lot of rock out there. Thought maybe I died and went to slab heaven!

I used to live in the Newport area. The cliffs you saw were in a massive Private Game Preserve (Corbin Park?) that spans parts of many neighboring towns. There is no trespassing allowed and the entire preserve is fenced off for many miles. I hear the dues used to be $10,000 per year 30 years ago.
