Just picked up a pair of these last week and was wondering what people thought of them? Been raining here in NH for two weeks straight...almost three...so I have been unable to get them out there on stone. :(
this weekend looks like there may be a window of opportunity between thunderstorms!!
I tried a pair on. I really liked them and wanted to buy a pair but they didn't have a half size smaller. Loved the cost of them, and then I also forgot what size I wore so I don't want to order them online...
thats weird ... i just bought a pair on sale last week ... havent tried em on reel rock yet ...i dont climb a ton of sport so i suspect theyll last quite a while ...
they fit my feet very well ... though my favs are still miuras
I got these to replace my miuras. I think that the new designs narrowed the forefoot as I don't remember them being so painful. I have owned Miuras now for 10 years or so...just bought a new pair with the new symmetry and xs edge rubber and they don't fit or stick nearly as well as they used to. Put about 100 pitches on the Miuras and they did little for my confidence or comfort. Still a nice edging shoe though. I got the Instincts as they seemed a bit more sensitive and sticky as well as a better design for the shape of my foot. We will see this weekend.
Also from NH and have a pair that haven't seen much use, picked them up at EMS for just under $100 after discounts.
I bought them based on the in-store fit, it was just incredible. Currently nursing a torn meniscus, but should be out on them soon, they seem like a great shoe!

Currently my go to shoe for anything steep or bouldery. I find them very comfortable for being so down-turned. However, I like the vapor lace-ups for more vertical/techy climbing.

Just bought a pair of these in the lace-up from Zappos a couple weeks ago. Used them three days so far and only about 6 short routes. These being my first pair of downturned shoes I sized them a full size below my street shoe size so that they'll fit like a "glove" when they're done stretching. They're KILLIN' my feet which are used to comfy all day "Trad-daddy" shoes. They sure as sh!t stick to dime edges though! Anybody have any experience with how these stretch over time?

I will let you know. I dropped a full shoe size as well and hope I made the right decision...they are very tight! I have heard that these do stretch quite a bit but the lateral grid stitching makes me a bit skeptical, but we will see.
