Just your friendly local climbing ranger here, reminding you all of the Peregrine Protection Closures, and announcing some new ones. The new ones that I want to emphasize are on Medlicott Dome in Tuolumne, and Yosemite Point in the Valley.

Check out our list here and tell your friends.

Adhering to closures is a key part of our responsibility as stewards is Yosemite. We started this park (Galen Clark and John Muir both have a proud list of FAs) and we have a lot of unique privelege here. Were the only user group that gets to go into the wilderness(big wall bivies) without a permit. Thus, we have greater responsibility to preserve and protect the place.

Good thing we love it so much! That should make it easy.

Thanks Climber Stewards,
Ben Doyle
