Hi Gals and Guys!

Hi everyone...so I'll be starting my epic July road trip to climb and see states I've never been to starting July 1st. If anyone is willing to climb with me from the 6-15 up in Ten Sleep, or Boulder Flats, or Wild Iris or or Grand Teton or LANDER at the festival!! I'd love to do some sport routes. I'm down for trad too, but have no gear and that's just not fair on my end, so I'm looking mostly for sport routes.

I lead up to 5.10b and will follow up into the 5.11's. Oh...and you have to be a dog person since my little dauschund/sheppard mix will be joining me.

Any camping recommendations too are welcome.

If not, i'm definitely hitting up Grand Teton Park for some hiking and loving nature or even the Big Horn National Forest....man...wherever I feel called to explore :)

My schedule is pretty flexible during that time frame. AFter the 15th...it's Colorado!

hi alison - I'm looking to go to the same general areas (tensleep, wild iris, lander for festival!) in the same window of dates you mention (6-15)! Will send you a PM and maybe we can coordinate!

p.s. i love dogs =)

Wild Iris Mountain Sports in Lander has a well used in-search-of-partner list. Also, people have been using the Climbers' Festival facebook for that as well. facebook.com/climbersfest

Excited you are coming to the event!

Hi Allison

I'm heading out to the Lander area in a little while, don't really know anyone there, and am looking to kick around the general area for a few months. No trad gear for me either, but would be psyched to jump on some sport routes. Let me know if you're still looking for a partner!

Cheers, Alex

FYI: In case you didn't know dogs and other pets are very limited at National Parks and will need to be left in the car if you do any hiking/etc: nps.gov/grte/planyourvisit/…

Thanks! I'll abide by any rules concerning my dog. I understand why they are in effect, but I won't leave her in the car. If anything I'll make plans for a future visit. Again, thank you! :)

camping around lander is easy. there's free camping in town, and free camping at wild iris. theres also lots of free camping around ten sleep.

enjoy

I'm so happy to read about the free camping in Wild Iris and Lander...hope there is plenty of room and the people are great! I'm not a big party-girl and I don't drink, but I have NO problem with people who do! Can't wait for the awesome time!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
