Rave at maple canyon last weekend ( 06/06/12)

Just a shout out to the assholes in campsite #2 at maple canyon last weekend. I went up there with my girlfriend and her kids hoping to have a nice quiet weekend and walk into these frig'in guys having some kind of rave or something. Her kids walked by and the "dude" has a full mason jar of cronic shows it to them and says hes going to smoke the whole thing (at least he did not try and make kids smoke it). Then they start showing pictures of one of crew with his tallywaker busting out of his shorts. And the dolls in the group- yea they were hot- but jesus- shut the F@*K up already. just cuz you speak spanish don't gotta drop that sauce on the whole world.

I gotta beleive this crew was "epic" col-rad direct from Denver.

Come on guys turn it down a notch or two. Some of us are trying to get some sleep and enjoy the solitude of the cobbles.

BTW- I saw one of them take a 60 forter on some weak 5.8 and almost deck. Wish they had might have Curbed the enthusiam

That campground has a history of not being peaceful and quiet -- SLC transvestites stealing ropes and making drunken ziplines, entire packs of children doing burnouts on dirtbikes right in front of peoples tents and as you say large posses of out of state sport climbers. the funny thing is your profile says you are strictly a trad climber

I wish I had walked up to that campsite and partied with those guys that night! Sounds like the best maple party in awhile!

Starting reading the OP with an ounce of sympathy, after the Color-Rad assumption and the Spanish-sauce comment, you're just another puss bitching into the ether for something you couldn't, or didn't, handle like a man.

Huh, here in the RAD just about every campsite (see pay site) has at least one group like that on the weekends. If we want to get away from the crowds we DONT GO TO THE PAID CAMPGROUNDS... just saying. Oh and if you can't beat em join em.

Needless to say, we weren't about to lower him to the ground without getting a few pic's!

Dude, that is NOTHING like the shit show at the Ironclads I had to endure one weekend with my kid and girlfriend. This rave had a full bore amp set with generators and the beats they were putting out echoed all the fuck up the hill to us almost a mile away. It was brutal and was going on even as we departed the next day. No way saying shit would have done anything. We should have high tailed it north to some pay sites, but we were in bed and it was late. The best I could manage was honking the horn as we left and yelling, "Good morning!!!!"

You find out about these crappy campsites here online sometimes and can avoid them. So it is very important to bitch about you bitches. It's like weather observers. Bullshit detected.

That said, a rave would hit the spot tonight.
