surfing and wave sailing

Thanks for keeping this thread current and posting the link Christian!
We had our seemingly last north swell over a week ago and we are all in withdrawal/denial at the moment.
I chased the small south swell a couple of days last week. I burned a lot of gas and was let down each time.
I guess I should read the last sentence of the manifesto.

I submitted a post written in a similar style as one posted in the southern California section yesterday. The So. Cal. post is getting a bunch of criticism here on Mountain Project. So I decided to delete mine and resubmit it in a different format.

Got some great out of season waves yesterday. It was a good day on the ocean.
The Volcom Fiji Pro event is going on now and I totally recommend tuning in to see some of the VERY best athletes in the world compete not only with each other but with mother ocean her self!

South shores – A new south-southwest swell will continue will rise into mid-week, holding into the weekend…although gradually lowering starting Friday.
I have a few days off starting tomorrow. I hope I can catch some of this episode.

Hey, It's been a while since I've posted here. I just got out of the water. It was a little sloppy, but the past few days have been pretty nice. I went to Montauk on Tuesday, what a gem. Hope you guys are getting to paddle out. Enjoy!

Hay Jasonn great to here from you and thanks for posting all the cool photos.
It's been slow over on the south and west sides of Maui so far this summer season.
We have had some later than usual north swells that have delivered a few great wave sailing sessions but no paddling.
Yesterday, I surfed two delightful shoulder to head high sessions over at my favorite spot on the west side and I'm planning to go back over this morning.
