Hey, I'm thinking of going to Clifton this weekend. Can anyone tell me how bad are the bugs in the Bangor area right now? Cheers

I was there at the end of last week and they weren't too bad at Eagles Bluff. Definitely present, but bearable.

I was there last year around this time and Anthony is right. Eagles Bluff isn't bad. Big Chick Hill was pretty miserable though.

Thanks for the replies. Probably same as here. Very strange bug season or lack thereof this year. I'm not complaining though.

The bugs are defiantly out in the Bangor area, but as long as there is a steady breeze the bugs should be ok.

Update: I went to Eagle's bluff and Park's pond and both places blackflies and no-see ums were out but weren't terrible. They were worst an hour before sunset but that's normal.
