russelljus wrote: doligo-really? Pretty sure on a regular basis I constantly see people from Colorado (more specifically from your exact area-climb with a big group of them frequently) climbing here in Utah. Pretty sure SLC might have more Colorado plates then actually Utah. Colorado is a beautiful place to climb, ski etc...however doesn't compare to UT...maybe if you disagree you should not take dirtbag trips through the Utah desert and spray about it. My response to original post (if not too late): Stay with the lady-Utah is amazing as you know and the climbing is pretty epic. Understanding that you may not get the time wanted to work you're shit...however I do imagine you will find time to make it happen at some point. The good thing about this: They all have pretty awesome dope...about it!!! Sorry you couldn't catch my drift - as you can tell, I've spent quite a lot of time climbing in Utah and I love it. The thing is... the weather around these corners is pretty stable, so the climbing vs. other priorities dilemmas like the OP's are not as acute as on the East Coast. Nice work, camhead! Am glad everything has aligned nicely.

I have had more laughs over the "Stab her in the fartbox comment of the last week since this thread was started. Thank you all as my up tight stressed out surrounded by squares ass needs a good down to early laugh based on nothing but being plainly funny unless of course you are a up tight square. Every time i open this thread i don't know what i expect to find but it always ends in a great laugh!

Let the annoying little sister hang out once in awhile without punching her in the face for chrissake. (did i just say chrissake?)

I'm actually not sure where the phrase originated in the climbing world. I know that there was a period of time that it would come up frequently in forum discussions, and if JohnL did not coin the term, he definitely used it to full advantage. It goes along with this classic image.

Tony B wrote: Oh, Colorodoans love climbing in UT! We'd move there, but we just can't stand the people... It is indeed difficult to tolerate all the 'Radans at the UT climbing areas. Meditation helps. (To all the 'Radans who may belay or spot me in the future, I'm just kidding - my comment above was motivated by a pathetic attempt to deflect my embarrassment at being a Utard. I love Colorado. The real enemies are all those jerks from Arizona. Wait, that's still too close - the true problem is all those gumbys from Rhode Island.) Seriously, w.r.t. the original post, it is gratifying that the thread has led to a happy ending.
