Yosemite all summer!

I'm moving camp to Yosemite Valley on the 30th of April until the rangers chase me away.

I'm a solid 10+ leader but can also lead up to 11+ with falls (safely of course!) I'm planning on getting on freeblast, serenity-sons, doing a dolt run, and then firing astroman. I also want to repeat the rostrum when the falcons aren't nesting. I'm also planning on doing some walls in particular the nose and salathe. I also want to climb half dome (regular route) in a day. And I'll be looking to do all the 5.9-ish classics too, especially the long ones as I need to train for big wall endurance. My rack is massive too and I love offwidth. If any of this sounds good to you and you want to partner up let me know!

depends if my partner comes through or not but I'll be in yosemite june 5th through 15th and might want to break away from guiding my less experienced buddies and climb the shit. If it's hot toulmune, if it's not yosemity.

Sounds like fun. I haven't done a summer in the Valley since I was 18. Personally, I think Freeblast and Serenity/Sons isn't sufficient for a go at Astroman, unless you already have a really strong base. You're looking at not very sustained, less than vert climbs, compared to pitch after pitch of steep, burly crack. Spend more time at the Cookie and Arch Rock, maybe send New Dimensions and if you're feeling solid on that (and the Rostrum is still closed) then try Astroman.

Have a fun summer.

The rangers will be shocked, SHOCKED, that somebody is trying to evade them all summer.

Still, posting under your real name about those sorts of activities is not to one's advantage...the tool may be reading this.

I will be in Yosemite May 22-June 22 ish in a party of three! One of our members is a solid 5.11 leader that you can pair up with! I'm just breaking into 10s on lead, but I'm down to climb some easy stuff with you! Cheers! =)

all post bulletin: Jack Ziegler is camping somewhere in the woods, git him!

I think you're fine dood.

Lol. I won't be hiding in the woods too much. I'll start at camp 4, Hardin flat road is nice because I can sleep in my van there, and I have a friend in Yosar. Yes I agree, a few trips to cookie would be a good warm up for astroman. I hope the rangers do read this. Maybe I'll even buy a portalegde and sleep one pitch up the wall all summer!

And later in the summer I'm down for moving camp to toulumne meadows and the Needles. I'm also psyched to climb positive vibrations on the hulk. I did the red dihedral last summer.

I'll keep you in mind, too. I have vague-ish plans to go at the end of May for a couple weeks. I'd love to do all those routes (except serenity and sons, did that, got sunburnt to hell), plus Steck-Salathe.

Jack, Will be there about the time you arrive and have a similar list. Have friends in site 21 and 24 so may stay there or at least be able to connect through folks staying there. Alan

Hey jack,

I try to come to the valley Tuesday's-thursdays just about every week possible. Breaking into leading 10s. I'll shoot you a text next time I'm around and if youre in need of a partner we can make some plans.

I'm in camp site 34 for the moment. Email doesn't work too well there because I got extended coverage there but texts always go through. 6267557780 I just did serenity sons today and want some more!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
