Just moved back to WV after 10 years in CO... looking to continue climbing but don't know any climbers here and unfamiliar with WV crags.

Looking for weekend climbing, either trad or sport. I can lead 5.8 sport and follow trad/sport up to 5.9... maybe 5.10 but haven't been climbing lately. I have gear for sport including 1 each 60m and 70m ropes.

Now I just need a partner!

Thanks,
Karen

Karen, If you are from Buckhannon I have done some good bouldering and top-roping at Sago. There are quite a few good rocks that are can easily be found during the fall. Also Bear Haven near Bowden, WV is another local place that offers climbing without to long of a drive. Have you explored either of this areas?

Karen,

I just moved to Pittssburgh after living in Salt Lake for 11 years. I have a pass from the family for this weekend (4/28 and 4/29) and would like to climb at the NRG (prefereabl) or Seneca.

I have a trad rack and will be getting back to the swing of things so 5.8 to 5.10 would be plenty of excitement. Sport or trad are fun...

Let me know if you are intersted in climbing this weekend.
