Sportiva Boulder X Sizing?

I am about to head to work at a western park and was thinking of getting the new Boulder X hightops. I have weak ankles and wore Five Ten camp 4s last summer, awesome shoes, but just need some more ankle support. I wear an 11 in the five ten approach shoes if they are snug, but prefer an 11.5. The Five Ten Exum guides look good too.

Anyone have experience with the sportiva sizing on the boulder approach shoes? I have lots of sportiva climbing shoes,TC pros, solutions, but no chance to size the approach shoes. I was imagining I'd be a 45 or 45.5

I wear normal shoe size 10 and got size 10 for the Boulder X, it's slightly tight. But after a while it stretched out a bit and now it is comfortable.

But as I recall from other posts, some prefer half size up to have more room.

I wear an 11 and got the 45 and they were a bit tight at first. I agree with going up half a size.

I had to size up one half-size as well.

Get them your street shoe size. They stretch and require a break in period. Awesome shoe.

I bought a La Sportiva Boulder X Mid half size bigger and it stretched out. However, two weeks ago I bought the low cut one, also half size bigger and it didn’t stretched out yet

I’m always the same size in LS shoes of any kind, including my X’s which I bought the women’s model on super discount. 42 seems always to be 42.
